Noteworthy Websites and Blogs
I’m always on the lookout for new sites/blogs that are both interesting but also informative to my personal and professional development. While I have a number of blogs and websites I visit on a daily basis, there is always room for a few more (and a few less of the current ones). Today, I found a couple of sites that might be beneficial for you. Lastly, a friend of mine started up a site that focuses on Creativity, and it’s one worth paying attention to.
Without further ado, here are three sites you should add to your favorites.
1. WebJackalope. Given that we are a webhosting and development company, anything that gives insight into the ever changing world of the internet is a worthy read. WebJackalope is a blog created by the folks over at LifeDev (another worthwhile blog, by the way). The blog focuses on lessons learned over the past 15 years of the author’s web development experience. If you’re looking for worthwhile tips and ideas for your website, this would be a great place to start.
2. Trendfo. Is your favorite news site not responding, or curious what’s the most popular searches and discussions happening on Google? Trendfo aims to give you information about what trends are happening in the search-engine world of Google. Pretty cool site, if you ask me.
3. Creativityist. These days, there are sites popping up all over the place that focus on ‘getting things done’. Creativityist is different in that it focuses on getting things done so as to make room for the important stuff, the creative part of you. We all have a creative person in us, be it in our artistic form of photography, a web designer, or a business manager. Letting the creative person inside us get out into the open can be daunting as bills, emails, to-do’s, and various papers all over our desk. John at Creativityist hopes to allow for you to learn how to get things done and be creative at the same time.
Hit us up in the comments if you have a blog or site that would be beneficial for our readers.
