Adobe Lightroom for Web
I’m very much a DIY (do it yourself) kind of guy. I built my site line by line with code rather than with a WYSIWYG (what you see if what you get) web design program. However, there are times when I just want to technology to take over and do things for me.

I’ve had shoots recently where I have a number of images that I want to share with the client and with a handful of the public. These images aren’t what I’d call portfolio heroes but they do have a place in how I sell myself.
So, I’ve been utilizing Lightroom to create shoot/event specific galleries or shows. (See my “shows”)
Lightroom makes it more than easy to do this. I create a “Collection” of the images I want to use in a specific “show” then simply click on the “Web” tab in the upper right and fill in the blanks. I “Export” to my hard drive then simply upload with Transmit to a directory (file folder) on my site.
The end result is a neat Flash (I like the Flash in this case) or HTML gallery.
I hope you’ll give it a try and let me know how it’s working for you.
